A study conducted in Sweden confirmed that 29% of all the patients admitted to hospital in Sweden due to their alcoholic beverage consumption. In the United Kingdom (not including Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland), between 350,000 to 500,000 people each year admitted to the hospital because of a dependency on alcohol.
In the Medicine International Magazine, 6th edition, 1989, there was an article that said liquor can cause throat cancer, other than causing bleeding in the throat, swelling of blood vessels in the larynx, pancreas inflammation, hemorrhoids, and other, which sometimes can lead to death.
Various scientific studies also stressed about the danger of alcoholic drinks to liver, sexual function, causing various diseases in women, urinary tract system disorders, digestive system, blood circulation system, respiratory system, ear glands, gonads and body metabolism system.
